This photo does NOT do justice to the amount of rain we have had coming down for the last 12 hours. I am seriously considering building an ark. If the Pizotes and Boa Constrictors start showing up 2 by 2, I am going to grab my hammer and some wood!
It has been a few days since I posted last because our schedule has been a little crazy. Kids had day off of school on Monday, we drove to Panama on Tuesday (that was an experience ;-) and have been very busy with work all day yesterday. The best part is that we have had multiple opportunities to share the Gospel with people -- people that have some real issues in life and Jesus is the only answer! God is so good! We made an absolute DIVINE connection on our drive back from Panama. We were stuck in a constrution traffic jam and I noticed this church off of the side of the road. This is a big deal here because you just don't see that many evangelical churches around. Long story short, we met the Pastor and his family and spent over an hour with them sharing about the visions the Lord has given us for ministry in Costa Rica. There is a chance Brigit and I will go to a conference with them next weekend to learn about a Bible-based school curriculum that they use at their church school. Our hope for a school and the Evangelistic Training Center may be closer than we think...time will tell!
