Having Money: Good or Bad? / Tener el dinero: bueno o malo?

Let’s start here:
 
“For the LOVE of money is a root of all evils…” (1 Tim. 6:10 AMPC)
 
Having money is a good thing! In fact, God is okay with you being rich! Can you believe it? You’ve probably heard a lot of teaching and conversation that says the opposite, but ALWAYS let the Bible be your guide. Don’t take someone else’s word for it, because so many are deceived in this area. People have even left their faith behind because they thought God did’t want them to have anything of value.
 
Read the above verse again…MONEY is NOT the root of all evils…but the LOVE of money is the root of all evils.
 
Even if you’ve heard it taught the other way around, money is definitely not a problem. In fact, God is a fan of you having money and other things, even in abundance.
 
“And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19)
 
It’s plain to see that God thinks in terms of liberality. Not barely enough to get by.
 
“And the Lord shall make you to have a surplus of prosperity… (Deut. 28:11)
 
Being poor is NOT God’s plan for the ones who love and follow Him.
 
Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor…” (Luke 4:18)
 
What’s the good news? That you don’t have to be poor anymore! Doesn’t that just make sense?
 
Think about it like this: if you’re a father or mother, does it make you happy when your kids don’t have enough? My kids are grown at this point, and when they are in lack, my heart nearly breaks because I don’t want them to go without. Well, as much as I love my own kids, God loves them even more! Doesn’t it make sense that He wouldn’t want US to be without what we need? Just as we don’t want our OWN CHILDREN to be without what they need?
 
Furthermore, how can we give to help those around us if we don’t have anything?
 
God wants us to have something to give others, and more than enough to supply our own needs.

“Porque el AMOR al dinero es raíz de todo lo malo…” (1 Tim. 6:10 AMPC)
 
¡Tener dinero es algo bueno! De hecho, ¡a Dios le parece bien que seas rico! ¿Puedes creerlo? Probablemente hayas escuchado muchas enseñanzas y conversaciones que dicen lo contrario, pero SIEMPRE deja que la Biblia sea tu guía. No confíe en la palabra de otra persona, porquemuchos se engañan en este ámbito. Existen ciertas personas que han abandonado su fe porquepensaban que Dios no quería que tuvieran nada de valor.
 
Lea el versículo anterior nuevamente… EL DINERO NO es la raíz de todos los malos… pero elAMOR al dinero es la raíz de todos los malos.
 
Si has oído que te enseñaron lo contrario, el dinero definitivamente no es un problema. De hecho, Dios es partidario de que tengas dinero y otras cosas, incluso en abundancia.
 
“Y mi Dios suplirá generosamente (llenará al máximo) cada una de vuestras necesidadesconforme a sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús”. (Filipenses 4:19)
 
Es evidente que Dios piensa en términos de liberalidad. No apenas lo suficiente para sobrevivir.
 
“Y Jehová os dará abundancia de prosperidad… (Deuteronomio 28:11)
 
Ser pobre NO es el plan de Dios para quienes lo aman y lo siguen.
 
Jesús dijo: “El Espíritu del Señor [está] sobre mí, por cuanto me ha ungido para predicar la buena nueva (el Evangelio) a los pobres…” (Lucas 4:18)
 
¿Cuáles son las buenas nuevas? ¡Que ya no hay que ser pobre! ¿No tiene eso sentido?
 
Piénsalo así: si eres padre o madre, ¿te hace feliz que tus hijos no tengan lo suficiente? Mis hijosya son mayores en este momento, y cuando ellos no tienen suficiente, mi corazón casi se rompeporque no quiero que se queden sin nada. Bueno, por mucho que amo a mis propios hijos, ¡Dios los ama aún más! Tiene sentido que Él no quiera que nos quedemos sin lo que necesitamos, asícomo no queremos que nuestros PROPIOS HIJOS se queden sin lo que necesitan.
 
Además, ¿cómo podemos dar para ayudar a quienes nos rodean si no tenemos nada?
 
Dios quiere que tengamos algo para dar a los demás y más que suficiente para satisfacer nuestraspropias necesidades.
