Did God Do It? / Dios lo hizo?

***Below is an excerpt from a new book I’m writing called, “Mistaken Identity: God is Not Your Problem.”
 
Somewhere along the line, people have been taught that God “took Aunt Suzy” when she died of cancer after a long battle. Or they heard that when a person dies before his time, it’s because “God needed another flower in His garden.” That might sound corny to you, but I’ve heard it said like that before. These erroneous ideas bring confusion into peoples’ lives and prevent them from coming to God. After all, how can you love and trust someone if you think they’re doing bad things to you covertly? That would be like a soldier in battle getting friendly fire from his fellow soldiers.
 
There are Bible teachers that address our topic head on. I’ve searched them out and listened to them over the years. It took time for me to adjust my thinking to align with the truth that God is GOOD, but I’m finally there.
 
There are very few Bible teachers who have rightly divided the Word of God in this area. There are so many who are determined to accuse God of doing things He never did do.
 
As you read, remember this…I’m nice, and I’m not putting anyone down. We’ve all believed wrong things at one point or another in life. I will probably be stepping on some toes as you read, but please don’t close my book. Please at least read what I believe the Holy Spirit is saying right now to the Body of Christ, and also to those who are not yet right with God.

Durante el transcurso de vida, a la gente se le ha enseñado que Dios “se llevó a la tía Suzy” cuando murió de cáncer después de una larga batalla. O escucharon que cuando una persona muere antes de su tiempo, es porque “Dios necesitaba otra flor en Su jardín.” Puede ser que tesuene extraño, pero yo he escuchado comentarios así en el pasado. Estas ideas erróneas traenconfusión a la vida de la gente y les impiden acercarse a Dios. Después de todo, ¿cómo puedesamar y confiar en alguien si crees que te está haciendo cosas malas de forma encubierta?
 
Hay maestros de la Biblia que abordan nuestro tema de frente. Los he buscado y escuchado a lo largo de los años. Me tomó tiempo ajustar mi forma de pensar para alinearme con la verdad de que Dios es BUENO, pero finalmente lo he logrado.
 
Hay muy pocos maestros de la Biblia que hayan dividido correctamente la Palabra de Dios enesta área. Hay muchos que están decididos a acusar a Dios de hacer cosas que nunca hizo.
 
Mientras lees, recuerda esto... Soy amable y la meta mia no es enojarse a las personas. Todoshemos creído cosas equivocadas en algún momento de la vida. Probablemente pisaré algunospies mientras lees, pero no cierres mi libro. Por favor, al menos lea lo que creo que el EspírituSanto está diciendo ahora mismo al Cuerpo de Cristo, y también a aquellos que aún no están bien con Dios.
