First-Time Guests

First time bringing your child to TOFF children’s ministry?  Don’t worry. Our staff and volunteers are ready and willing to provide answers to all of your questions.

Each classroom opens 15 minutes before our Celebration Service. Upon arriving at the classroom, our volunteers will check them into the room, provide them with a name tag, and give you a corresponding parent tag. Please hold on to this tag and return it when you come to pick up your child.

Q:  Where are the children’s ministry rooms located?
All children's ministry rooms are located on the second floor of the building. Your can click here to see exactly where each class is located.

Q: When do children graduate to new classes?
Each year on the 2nd Sunday of September all children who are eligible to graduate to a new chidren's ministry class begin attending their new class.

Q: What if my child needs me during the Celebration Service?
All of our children’s ministry rooms are equipped with two-way radios.  In the event that the children’s ministry staff need to reach you during the Celebration Service regarding your child, they will communicate their need to one of our ushers via radio, who will then notify you.

Q: Do the children ever attend the Celebration Service with the adults?
The Kids on the Move class joins the adults in the Celebration Service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.

Q: What kind of security check do the volunteers have to go through?
Screening for all children's ministry volunteers includes a nationwide background check, as well as personal interviews with TOFF staff.

Q: How can I get involved in the children’s ministry?
